Friday, 13 November
6pm-10pm: Opening of the artisan craft fair. Sant Domingo Cloister. Opening also of exhibitions for old implements from the fishermen's guild (Sant Domingo), puzzles (Pollensa museum), giants and big heads (entrance of the old Residencia by Sant Domingo).
6.30pm: Opening of sewing exhibition. Plaça Vella 5.
7pm: Pollensa beer festival with local brews, microbreweries plus a food truck. C. Convent.
7.15pm: Presentation of the new website for the Prodis charity. C. Sant Josep 4.

5pm: Act to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Muro Ethnology Museum. Plus the pipers Es Reguinyol and folk group Revetla d'Algebelí. Placeta Carrer Gloria. Also, children's party. In front of the town hall.
6pm: Children's demons' correfoc fire-run. Plaça Comte d'Empúries.
6.20pm: Lanterns' procession. From Plaça Comte d'Empúries.
7pm: Competition for pumpkin lanterns. Plaça Comte d'Empúries.
7.30pm: Draw to join the Sant Antoni demons. Plaça Comte d'Empúries.

10.30am: Town hall authorities arrive at the fair accompanied by the pipers. At different locations (all close by in the centre of the town): food stalls, toys, artisan crafts, Mallorcan produce, sausages, cheeses, plants and flowers, Sa Pedrera demons and local culture.
12.30pm: Pumpkin competition. In front of the town hall.
4.30pm: Concert - Unió Artística Murera Band of Music. In front of the town hall.
6pm: Folk dance with Revetla d'Algebelí. In front of the town hall.

SA POBLA AUTUMN FAIR 2014

The fair itself takes place over the weekend of 29/30 November, but beforehand there is the weekend of giants, xeremiers (bagpipers) and of the "lutier" fair.

From Friday, 21 November to Sunday, 30 November:
"Menjar Bé" (eat well, gastronomy specials at various bars and restaurants).

Saturday, 22 November:
16.30: Giants meeting to celebrate 30 years of the Sa Pobla giants. Plaça d'es Metge Duet.
17.00: Procession from the Plaça d'es Metge Duet to the town hall, greeted by the town's pipers for a commemoration of the 30 years of the giants, followed by a dance by the giants and music from the town's music band.
21.00: Concert by the Xeremiers Orats from Pollensa (pipes, whistles, tambourines and percussion), L'home del sac from Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona, Cassandre Balbar from France, Mùsica populare siciliana from Sicily and Gaiteros del Centro Gallego. Parish church.

PUERTO ALCUDIA - NINTH BOAT FAIR AND SEPIA GASTRONOMY FAIR

(Note: all activities, exhibits, fairs are located along the Paseo Marítimo between the marina and the Plaça de sa Quarantena, which is the square before you get to the commercial port.)

Friday, 4 April:
17.30: Contacontes (story-telling) "Princeses Blaves i Prìnceps Encantadors". Fishermen's guild building.
18.00: Dignitaries arrive at restaurants marquee.
Opening of the gastronomy fair. Music and tapas. Plaça de sa Quarantena. Opening of craft and food market.
Opening of exhibitions at the port authority's building.

Saturday, 5 April:
10.00: Opening of the boat fair, the gastronomy fair, the craft and food fairs.
Exhibits include: La Balear, the traditional and restored "vela llatina" fishermen's boat which is owned by the Council of Mallorca and the Guardia Civil's helicopter and boat.
10.00-13.30: Children's bike park (local police and civil protection). Plaça de sa Quarantena.
11.00: Opening of restaurants' marquee.
11.00-13.00 / 16.00-19.00: Demonstration of sailing, kayaking and surfing. Xara beach by the marina.
11.00-13.00: Open day at the Esports Natura school of the sea. Alcudiamar.
11.00: Demonstration of radio-controlled boats.
