ALCUDIA CHRISTMAS-NEW-YEAR-THREE KINGS 2013/2014

Thursday, 19 December: 7pm, Christmas Concert by students of the Alcúdia School of Music at the Auditorium. Entrance with invitation.

Saturday, 21 December: From 7pm, Christmas Carols by the Alcúdia Choir.

Sunday, 22 December: 6pm. Mallorcaclown presents "Un Nadal de Pallassos". Auditorium, 4 euros.

Christmas Eve: 7pm, Sibil-la and Angel chants, Puerto Alcúdia church and then at 10.30pm in Sant Jaume church, Alcúdia

Christmas Day: 12 midday, Mass at Sant Jaume church. 7.30pm. Eucharist.

Boxing Day: 12 midday, Mass and at 1pm, arrival of town hall representatives, the singing of the Mallorca hymn with accompaniment by the Alcúdia Music Band.

Saturday, 28 December: 6pm, "La Ventafocs", musical spectacular for all the family. Auditorium, 10 euros (or 8 euros in advance).

New Year's Eve: 5pm, 2.5 kilometre race, followed at 5.30pm by the 7.5 kilometre race. From the market square. And at twenty to midnight, gather to hear the bells at the town hall and to celebrate New Year in the Plaça Constitució with the groups Val Nou and Da-Li Gas.

New Year's Day: 12 midday, Mass at Sant Jaume and Eucharist at 7.30pm.

Friday, 3 January: 5.30pm, Arrival of the pages with horses in the port and then shower of sweets. Paseo Marítimo, and then the pages arrive at the town hall at 6.30pm.

Saturday, 4 January: 6pm, New Year concert by Suite Ensemble. Auditorium, 8 euros.

Sunday, 5 January: 6.15pm, Arrival of the Kings at the old pier, followed by the parade to the church and then parade to the old town, arriving at 7.30pm. 8pm, the Kings appear on the town hall balcony and at 8.15pm, hand out the presents.

Monday, 6 January: 12 midday, Mass at Sant Jaume and then Eucharist at 7.30pm. At 8.30pm, Concert for the Kings with the Alcúdia Choir and Music Band at the Auditorium. Entrance by invitation.
